Turtle Cove Inn is the only hotel that is right on
the marina in Provo. If you've ever been to Provo, you know that most of
the 'action' takes place at the restaurants and bars that surround the marina.
Aqua Bar & Restaurant is a part of the Turtle Cove
Inn complex - just a few steps from the pool. This is one of the best
'fine dining' restaurants on Provo with a terrace overlooking the marina.
However, they always have a 'bar menu' available if you want to have a burger or
something light in the bar!
The bar at Aqua is a great place to hang out - or
grab a few drinks and sit by the pool or on your balcony. Aqua is one of
the only restaurants on Provo that is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and
snacks every day of the week! They also have public internet access at the
bar if you don't want to travel with your notebook computer!
Turtle Cove also is home to the 'Tipsy Turtle'
liquor store and 'Scooter Bob's' car rental shop. Upstairs is the new home
of the Turks & Caicos Cultural Center - so don't be surprised if there is a
traditional dance rehearsal or exhibition going on during your stay at Turtle
Cove!
Just down the boardwalk is the Big Banana bar and
restaurant - a local favorite with a Caribbean beach-bar atmosphere and The Tiki
Hut Restaurant. Although you can see SharkBite and Baci from the
boardwalk - there is no connecting path, so you have to walk along the road and
around the corner. Magnolia Wine Bar and Restaurant is just up the hill at
the Miramar Resort.
Ocean Vibes Dive Shop is right next to Turtle Cove
Inn and Provo Turtle Divers and their shop is just beyond The Tiki Hut.
This is also the home to the Undersea Explorer mini-sumbarine. A new shop
- 'Reef Peepers' has just opened near Sharkbite to provide sunset cruises,
snorkeling trips, glass-bottom boat tours and glow-worm cruises.
Charter Fishing Boats line the marina - so just take
a walk along the boardwalk and talk to the captains and crew.
Why stay at another hotel when you can be right in
the middle of everything!
